Established in 1978, The Blackacre Nature Preserve, Located at 3200 Tucker Station Road in Southeastern Jefferson County is a 200+ acre property that serves countless school groups, seniors, visitors and even recreational farmers annually. The Blackacre Nature Preserve is home to Waterfalls, Hiking Trails more than 400 plots of garden and one of the oldest homes in our region. Open Sunrise to Sunset, this property is a hidden gem and continues to be one of the lesser known assets that represents the earlier days of our community. Join Councilman Kevin Kramer (District 11) and Blackacre Nature Preserve’s Executive Director, Dennis Craig as they discuss the many programs and activities underway at the farm.

Central Adult Learn, a completely volunteer-driven initiative, has successfully taught swimming to 500 individuals since its inception in 2018. The A.C.E. Project emerged from a mother’s heartbreaking loss of her son, Cory Michael Crowe, in 2014. Explore the incredible support and programs this organizations offers to families coping with the loss of a loved one, and the valuable initiatives benefiting our local youth.
