Happy New Year and welcome back! In this episode, hosted by our new emcee Kyle Ethridge, we say farewell to former Metro Council President David James, review his Presidency, and learn what’s next for him. Then, we’ll meet newly elected President Markus Winkler and learn about his leadership style. Then, we dive into the District seat vacancy process and how to apply for Council seats. The final portion of the episode is a meet and greet with four new members of the Democratic Caucus, Council members Tammy Hawkins, Andrew Owen, Jennifer Chappell and Betsy Ruhe.
